Accommodation

The Central Coast Clinic offers private rooms all with their own ensuite.

Each room has its own television with access to standard channels. The patient lounge room has a television available with access to standard and Foxtel channels.

Patient lounges and seating areas are located throughout the Clinic.

DVA Accommodation

Under an agreement with the Department of Veterans' Affairs, eligible veterans and war widows are admitted to shared room accommodation unless the medical condition requires single room facilities.

If your personal preference is single room accommodation, arrangements should be discussed with hospital staff. Allocation of a single room under these circumstances will require you to meet the extra accommodation cost.

Companion animals

Provided animals have been appropriately trained, companion animals are approved to join patients during in-patient and day patient visits to the clinic to assist with recovery and healing.

Meals

Our Catering department provides a choice of quality meals, prepared on-site. Special dietary needs are catered for, where it is in the interest of your hospital care. Learn more about the Meals we offer.

• All meals are served in the dining room unless otherwise directed by your treating team
• All patients are required to complete their meal selections from the menu the day before the meal is required
• Morning tea and afternoon tea snacks are provided and available in the dining room
• Tea and coffee is available all day in the dining room. Please ensure you keep the tea and coffee making area clean and tidy at all times

Café Facilities

There is always a treat waiting at our Koolewong café located in the main foyer of the hospital. If you are looking for a sweet snack, a savoury delight, a cup of coffee or a special tea, the Koolewong Cafe offers a number of delicacies to suit anytime of the day. Sit down meals and takeaway food are available.

The Koolewong Cafe also has a range of gifts sourced from local artists including plants, chocolates, gift cards, ceramics, and more. Gift Vouchers are also available.

• Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 3.45pm
• Saturday: From 9.00am

Hairdresser and Podiatrist

Hairdresser and Podiatrist services can be arranged on request. Please speak with your Nurse or our Reception staff to arrange the service for you.

Housekeeping

Our staff take pride in delivering a high standard of hotel service, through the maintenance and cleaning of all patient rooms and areas. At The Central Coast Clinic after each room is cleaned a 'Courtesy Card' is left by the Hotel Services team to advise you that the room has been freshly prepared and cleaned. If you find any problems with your room, please advise The Central Coast Clinic staff.

Hydrotherapy Pool

Brisbane Waters Private is equipped with state of the art hydrotherapy pool facilities.

Interpreter services

An accredited interpreter service can be arranged if necessary. There may be an additional charge for this service.

Gymnasiums

We have a number of gyms throughout the hospital to help patients regain optimal function.

Parking

We recommend that you travel to and from hospital with a carer, friend or relative. Free parking is available, however there is no long term parking available.

Pastoral Care

Religious visits can be arranged on request. Please speak to our hospital staff who will be happy to organise a suitable visit for you.

Pathology

Australian Clinical Lab Pathology Services are located on site at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital.

Pharmacy

We have a pharmacy on site for the convenience of our patients.

Radiology

I-Med Radiology services is located on site at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital.

Parking

Free on site parking is available for visitors, carers and staff. We recommend that you travel to and from hospital with a carer, friend or relative, as inpatients are not permitted to operate a motor vehicle during their admission.
