Everything you need to know for your inpatient admission to the Central Coast Clinic. As an inpatient, it is important that you are familiar with our processes and information provided to ensure that your stay runs smoothly.
How do I get admitted?
Call 1800 814 226 for all Inpatient Enquiries
Ask your Doctor or Specialist to refer you to the Central Coast Clinic at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital. All referrals must be to a Psychiatrist with admission rights to this hospital.

What do I bring to hospital for my Inpatient Stay?
- Letter of referral from your treating Doctor or Specialist, unless this has already been sent to the hospital
- All medications you are currently prescribed and any repeat prescriptions
- Medicare and private health insurance cards
- Health care cards and pharmacy safety net details
- Casual comfortable day clothes
- Comfortable footwear
- Clothing and footwear suitable for exercise and walks
- Swimming costumes / Towel for Hydrotherapy Pool use (if desired)
- Nightwear
- Personal toiletries
- Glasses and physical aids (e.g. walking sticks, hearing aids)
- Sufficient cash for incidental expenses
For all electrical appliances (if essential), please advise hospital staff on arrival as they must be tested by the Hospital Maintenance Department for safety reasons.
We ask that you do not bring valuables during your stay. The hospital does not accept responsibility for security of your possessions, including jewellery, watches and money.
Our Admissions and Assessment Coordinator will advise you of any other requirements, prior to admission.
